Please join us for lunch and a movie with our very special guest, one of the creators of the faith-filled films WAR ROOM, OVERCOMER and COURAGEOUS, Alex Kendrick!!!

This is a special event for pastors and ministry leaders to meet Alex Kendrick and hear about the Kendrick Brothers’ newest movie, THE FORGE.

Fellowship with hor d’oeuvres will begin at 11:30 AM, followed by a lunch as we hear Alex talk about the heart and God stories behind THE FORGE, as well as ministry tools that can be used along with the movie.

In the evening, we will reconvene to watch THE FORGE with Alex Kendrick, before it hits theaters August 23rd. There will be a Q&A and you will have an opportunity to have your picture taken with on the Red Carpet!

Alex Kendrick

Alex Kendrick is a follower of Jesus Christ and has a passion to tell stories of hope and redemption. He is a co-writer for the screenplays and books, and he’s the director and editor for Kendrick Brothers’ films.

Alex has spoken to churches, universities, conferences, and businesses all across America and in other countries. He has been featured on FOX News, CNN, ABC World News Tonight, CBS Evening News, Time Magazine, and many other media outlets. He is a graduate of Kennesaw State University and attended seminary before being ordained into ministry.

Alex and his wife, Christina, live in Albany, Georgia, with their six children. They are active members of Sherwood Church in Albany.
