About Gary

Gary has a singular passion – to help raise the level of biblical literacy worldwide. He does so with his free weekly online Bible class, Sunday School Dojo and his Bible overview courses: The 20 Great Events of the Bible, 100 Great Events of the Bible, and the 400 Great Events of the Bible on his website learnthebiblefast.com.
He has always considered himself a missionary, whether it be local, national or international. Although his primary base is Honolulu, Hawaii, he has taught Christ-followers how to better understand the Bible in California, Oregon, Tennessee, the Philippines and Hong Kong.
Born and raised in Hawaii, Gary became a Christ-follower as a high school student. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Hawaii-Manoa and his graduate degree from The King’s Seminary. He has served as a teaching pastor, national instructor for Walk Thru the Bible Ministries, and executive dean and instructor at a local Christian college.
Gary is a pastor, educator, and visual thinker with over 40 years of ministry experience. He is known for his ability to communicate the Bible with clarity and creativity, as well as teach sound biblical leadership principles.
